now onto the interior and the glow in this car...i like the simplicity that saturn did with the interior...its nice but not over done and i feel like i can live in it. this car was very easy to put glow in and thanks to my boys over at oznium for taking care of my glow needs....go over there and talk to phil, he will take good care of you esp. if you tell him cardinalsfan sent ya!! now onto the pics...
hard to believe that i got such low mileage for under $10,000 eh? she was a very VERY good deal for me...
just a nice, clean interor...nothing i dont want nothing not there that i want
this is what i did with the extra space below the dash kit for the aftermarket head unit...took some plexi, cut it to fit and taped off SATURN in the shape of the saturn font. from there i painted it flat black and put a hole for a switch to control my cathodes. i tried leds to light the logo but i found that a 4" cathode did the trick. the space that i had for my voltmeter wouldnt fit thanks to the switch so its just kinda in there at the moment until i get time to redo this whole thing...
first off...i DO NOT reccoment or condone this...but it looks so cool!! i replaced my front turn signals and my side marker lights with red leds...highly illegal but looks cool as heck if ya ask me.
GLOW!! all that from how many cold cathodes? 4...thats right, only 4, 2 under each seat. these little guys are bright and fun to play with. wanna see what they look like? check out the next pic...
yup, thats the cold cathodes. nothing really complicated but they are so great and so cheap, why not get some? i did all the glow that you see in my car for less than $30, try even getting a dual 12" neon set for that price and see how the glow compares...
i love these pics...its what everyone else on the road sees when the look at my car, the red glow!! dont think im gonna stop with just this...OH NO!! underbody glow maybe? hehehehe...gotta stay tuned to see
