The Whole Story to this Gorgeous 1991 Isuzu Impulse RS:
1991 was the first and only model year of the RS-trim JI body Impulse. It featured all wheel drive and a moderate turbocharged system incorporating a top mount intercooler. Factory numbers stated 160hp. The sad reality was, it could have been a great sports car, but a combination of poor marketing by GM and the DSM awd turbo monsters basically shot this car down in its youth. Less than 20 were even shipped to the US in 1992.
Now that you all know the history, heres my baby. I aquired her from a donations lot for $200. She was pretty beat up as you can see.

After replacing a front axle and axle boot, steering rack, removing the ABS, installing adjustable coilovers and brand new struts, she was sent over to an amazing mechanic/friend of mine who helped us straighten out the body, install a custom exhaust from the rear axle back, install reverse glow gauges, and tighten up all the lose pieces.

Then she sat in the garage for a couple months. Until my father's friend's body shop, Eagle Auto Body, had a dead spot of buisness and offered to take the ol' Zuzu. After a week of hard prep and body work, she looked like this:

The paint of choice was a blend of High gloss black, Lilac Pearl, and Hi-Lite Blue Pearl. The result is a sort of "Midnight Pearl" I like to call it. I'm sure most people will agree it's quite amazing.

And thats what you can call a "ReStored Impulse".
