This page is all about my car's custom Air suspension from Aim Industries(www.truckin.com) and Universal Air (www.universalairsuspension.com)--Thier site is currently under construction. For the front I ordered a set of air struts from Aim Industries. They pretty much are a regular set of struts mated to a double-convoluted Firestome 255c air bags. They are 100% bolt-in replacement of your factory strut units. I have them installed now and am amazed at how much of a drop they provided. They drop my car 6 inches. The frame sits around 1" off the ground and I can raise the car to 4" above the tire from the top of the wheel well. I have these hooked to the same compressor system as the back. For the rear I removed the coils springs and replaced them w/ a set of triple play airbags. The triple play bags from Universal Air give me around 12-13" of lift! I had to weld in new custom made upper and lower brackets for the bags to work. I had to remove my shocks to get the full drop and get special shocks that wil go that low instead. I am amazed at how much it lowered my car(around 4-5"). I have a 5 Gallon 4 port chrome air tank and two compessor set-up for pressure. I am running all 1/2" lines and a dual electric MAC valves in the front of the car. I am running 4 Parker Gold 1/2" electric fast valves in the back. I placed the valves as close to the bags as I could to make it raise and slam lightning fast. I also bought a pre-wired 10 switch box to give my car: Pancake up/down, see-saw, each corner, front, back, and dogleg or a FBSS setup.
