I am currently working on building a custom box for my cousin's 2002 VW Jetta. Take a few minutes and look at what I have done so far. Let me know what you think.
The piece that is mounted in the center is where the amp will rest on.
The fabric was then streched to form the curves for the box.
The first layer of fiberglass was applied, and is somewhat difficult to work with.
More pictures are on the way. Up to 4 layers of fiberglass, along with sanding to get all of the rough spots smooth. I still feel the fiberglass stuck in my skin.
My next project is a 2001 Lexus IS300.
