1962 Chevy IIHere's my recently acquired 1962 Chevy II as a winter project. Currently has a low mileage 1967 327 V8 from a Corvette with 2 bolt mains. Also has a TH350 Transmission. Both installed by previous owner. Factory bright red interior that is currently incomplete. No carpet or kick panels. Original interior is in fair to poor condition.
Future plans for the interior: Redo the seats, headliner, carpet. Some modifications include custom gauges, updated stereo & custom shifter. Replacement of all knobs and window cranks, painted dash, etc. etc. etc.
Here's some pics of the exterior. It's currently primered, but not ready for paint. I'm not sure on the interior or exterior color scheme yet anyway. All chrome is somewhat scuffed and pitted, but fair to good condition. The vehicle is a 2 door post. All glass is original in good condition except the wind shield has scrathces from the wipers.

The previous owner installed the engine / transmission combo approx. 6 mos prior to selling the vehicle. Also swapped the brakes and the rear axle from a 64'. The wheels now have a 5 bolt pattern instead of the original 4 bolt. Currently running with 15 inch wheels / tires. Thinking about 17X7 torque thrust II wheels for the upgrade. Other future plans: Complete suspension swap out, installing IFS subframe with R/P steering, 2 inch drop spindles & rear 4 bar kit. Much more to come....
