Well this is my new car.

flaming-ford's 1992 Chevrolet Camaro

i just bought it in late september 05. So far i haven't done a whole lot of extensive repairs but, there are many that i have done which i will list below. It is a 1992 camaro rs (25th anniversary edition and the last year of the third gens).

When i got it, it was in good condition. The driver seat is fine, barely showing any wear. the dash has no cracks, and the carpeting has few flawes for being as old as it is. the paint is in pretty good shape,

What i know about it so far: it's slow for a sports car, it handles awesome, it has newer brakes, radiator, and rear poly swaybar bushings, new open element and flow master catback, new front tires goodyear eagle gt2s, it has the factory 2.73 rear gears(yuck)with a 700r4 auto tranny, t-tops, factory stereo deck, and speakers which all sound very well for a stock system. The exhaust gets a d on my a-f scale though. The p.o. also had 3.5 slash cut chrome tips welded on.

They look like this (i should repolish them but, i was to lazy.

what i've bought for it and installed so far : new hood struts, new thermostat, new heater valve, new serpentine belt, new idler pulley, 2 new headlights, new accel superstock wires (custom fit), since changed the wires to msd super conductor witres, msd 6al box, msd blaster coil, blue streak cap and rotor, ac delco spark plugs, new trw tierod-ends inners, outers, and sleeves, along with trw front swaybar links and bushings, trw lower balljoints, Chrome chevy logo centerbolt valve covers, Chrome push in style mr. gasket oil fill cap, new goodyear t/r rear tires, new felpro valve cover gaskets, chevy aircleaner wingnut, new waterpump and gaskets, alternator, serpentine belt tensioner assembly, airfilter, driverside window motor, fuel filter, 2 new h.i.d. looking headlights, new tranny mount, 180 t-stat, chrome waterneck, top down solutions wonderbar, and tds alston subframe connectors, (welded in), new outer wheel bearings, calipers and kyb gr2 shocks and struts, stainless braided brake hoses for front calipers and rubber to hard line on the rear, tranny mount, undercoating (half done), alpine head unit, sony xplod 6 by 9s,

Heres what i've bought new and is still awaiting an install: . Full security system with keyless entry and remote starting, vallet mode, 6 different siren settings blah blah, can't wait to hook it up yes i can truth be told as it's still sitting here lol.

what needs done as of now: some rust repair and prevention, 95% of it's on the underbody and mostly just surface or a little more than surface rust, needs new rear hatch struts too. Replace high beam head lights with the hid look alikes.

near future mods include: hedman headers, custom 3 in y-pipe and, 3in dynomax exhaust, 1.6 full roller rockers, performer rpm manifold, ebl computer (need the computer to tune tbi engines easy).

future mods this winter/summer include : building up the 305, tranny, and rest of drivetrain changes: Z28 rearend with 3.23-3.73 gears and posi.

(2 years from now or so will be a built ls1 or built to the hilt 383).
