I just bought this car a few weeks ago, it's my first car. So far I swapped the 96 engine out for a 99 engine that had less than 100 miles on it. Then added a cold air intake along with a new exhaust. I bought 4 new Toyo's tires with some Enkei wheels. I also added clear corners and a few other visual mods. In the next weeks or so, i'll be getting a new dashboard and a new sound system. Then i'll be working on supension and handling of the car-this is going to be an autocross car in a couple years. It's also going to be repainted to Stealth Gray hopefully soon. Let me know what you think, i'm open to suggestions.

Update Sept. 27
I bought a new ECU chip that adds about 20 horsepower to the car. I bought a new alarm system by Thor, which also comes with automatic start. Pictures soon. I need to get speakers for the car, rebuild the dash, and work on suspension now.

I'm also having second thoughts on whether or not I want to put the time and the money into swapping the automatic out for a manual. I've been doing a lot of reasearch on it, and it's a lot of labor, and with the intake, exhaust, the shift points being changed to shift harder, and ecu chip so far, my car will be just as quick as a manual.

Update March 9
Have to swap in a new engine, something went wrong with the engine, sounds like it's coming from inside the engine, so instead of rebuilding, I'll just put a new one in, maybe a V6 with an all new trans and computer, we'll see.
And I just bought a new sound system for it.

hey bud, my body kit is from RK Sport. I got a link on my page for their website. You should check it out; they've got some decent stuff.
Cavy is lookin' quite clean right now. Let me know when you've done some more work. I'd love to see what you do with it.
Hey where did you pick up the ecu? I've also thought about doing the tranny swap and possibly an engine swap, but I just don't think the cash is worth it. I love my ride, but I think I'd only do it if I was swimming in dollars. Take care, hit me back. Peace
