PEUGEOT 405 SR 1988Hi my name is Raul and this is my Peugeot 405 SR. It has a 1.6l twin carburetta engine, i bought this car last year from a French man who brought the car over from france in 1988 brand new and stuck it in his garage for 16 years and hardly ever drove it, it only had 70,000 km on the clock. I bought the car of him for a very low price when i lost my pug 205 in a very bad accident. My car is full of extra bits: Electric sunroof, central locking, electric windows-front and back,ABS, power steering, metalic paint and whats more i have got it to a top speed of 210kmph. This is how my car was before my last update and this is how it is now. I removed my steering wheel skin and seat covers and i got a new steering wheel and i painted the dashboard. this was how the interior was before and this i how it is now. I have added a rear spoiler. I have added some interior lights. I got some xenon blue headlights and i also painted my mirrors. I have invested in a new sound system, a new exhaust and m3 style mirrors which are currently being installed and the photos will be here soon.

Well, according to my manual, the tank capacity is 70 litres and reserve you have about 7 Litres.But my fuel gauge is too sensitve, with accelearation it goes down and with breaking it goes up, almost always with the orange bulb on :) really. But i like the car you know, handles very good, but always thursty for petrol.Bdw, noticed the terrano --> 5 stars!! i rated it :)

Yours is carburrator like mine, i found out that we can make the carburrator simultaneous opening, which means the two barrels opens at the same time. by standard ours, with half of the gas pedal pressed only one will open, but when pressed all, the 2 barrels open, infact mine changes the sound, becomes more aggressive.

Hey raul, did you ever notice how much mpg (miles per gallon) your 405 does? Mine only does around 28mpg!!

hi i buy a 405 last month I got blue headlights and i also changing my mirrors. see my car
