This is my stock engine bay. Kinda dirty right now. This is a numbers matching 305 HO with all emissions still hooked up, still not sure if I want to change that or not. I've already rebuilt a 350 that turns about 275HP, not major but it is better than stock. It temporarily resides in my brothers truck. I'd love to put a TPI setup on that 350, that would be sweet.
Look at those nasty exhaust manifolds. I was thinking Edelbrock coated headers. Still retains all emissions that way. High flow cat and 2 1/4 or 2 1/2 exhaust are the plans. Gotta have stainless steel tailpipes, too. I still have the auto slushbox that I hate. Real cars require a clutch and shifter, It's just more fun. I was thinking hydraulic slave T5 transmission. No hassle with linkages, parts are readily available, and pretty cost effective upgrade. Vote on my poll and let me know what you think. I'm leaning towards keeping it stock and find me a donor 78-82 MC for my 350, TPI, and T5. Another 82 would be nice with 350HP, T5, TPI, 4.56 gears, and slicks. SWEET!!!!
