350 IS IN, TRANS SWAP NEXT, THEN BIG BRAKES. CHECK BACK OFTEN
This is my 85 Monte Carlo SS that I've owned since July 2005. I bought this jewel from the original owner who stored it in 1992-1998 and 2000-2005. It's still very clean and mostly original, no hack jobs here. Only mods so far are 88 SS wheels, 88 SS dash, shifter cover, and instrument panel inserts.
Here it is sitting next to an immaculate 84 Pontiac Grand Prix LE. Friend's car with original 305, bucket seats, and factory gauges. Hard to find and it's one nice ride. To bad he's selling it. I wish I had a bigger garage now.
Sitting in front of a grade school in the neighborhood where I grew up at. Football field in the background left is where I spent a lot of time on weekends. Large parking lot, though. Make a good spot for a car show for locals. My 85 is silver metallic with the oxblood interior, bucket seats and floor shift, 305 HO and 200-4r AT, 3.73 rear gears and posi, tilt, PW, A/C, & CC. No 3rd brake light or PDL. T-Tops that seal and a couple small oil leaks I need to fix.
