My father and i purchased this car in October of 2002. We got it on ebay and thought it was going to be a daily driver. Well that wasn't the case when we recieved the car. Lucky for us we got a screaming deal on it. Things just went from bad to worse. It went to the point where we decided to do a full body off restoration during the fall of 2004. Our goal was to complete it by my graduation party (summer of 05). Well we made our goal and finished it the a week before the party. Since then i have driven it as much as possible when the weather is nice and i'm home and i have taken it to the super chevy show in Joliet (Chicago) IL. it placed in that show. You could say this was my senior project. I put my blood sweet and tears in this car and i sacraficed alot to do this car but in the end i think it was all worth it. I have decided that i'm going to change the rear-end in the vette. Stock it has a 2.87 which is built for gas mileage and i have thrown that idea out the window a long time ago. So i'm going to step up to 3.73 which should give me a real good kick off the line. With these new gears is going to be a new set of axles. This past summer i won my class in the Super Chevy show in Indianapolis.
