This was my dad's first car in 1978. Since then, it has never been driven in winters, and has not seen rain for at least 20 years. It remains completely stock except for a custom-bent turbo exhaust. We pulled the engine out in the late 1990's because of a dented and cracked oil pan. We cleaned and painted the engine at that same time.

I am 19 and currently attending college for my second year. The car is mine (although not officially until the title is signed over). I would like to eventually install an AEM intake and carbureator. The stock setup is only a 2-barrel, which is better on gas, but is much slower. It still does a pretty damn good burn-out though.

The paint is the original color, and from what I've been told, is a rather rare color (Hugger Orange). The Vinyl top has been replaced once and looks great. It is a 3-speed automatic, to my dissapointment. I can't tell you how many heads turn when I'm crusing downtown or in Riverside Park in LaCrosse WI! Enjoy, please add yourself to my guestbook.

Very nice. I have wanted to paint mine hugger orange. I have also wanted to put on a vynal top. I have also wanted it yellow, red, black, candy apple red, blue, etc. In 9 years I still dont know. But for a 5-8k paint job its got to be right. Anyone can go to macco for 500 bucks but not me...Very nice. Check out my 69.

Definate crowd pleaser and a real "keeper" you've got there, Darren. I'd resist the urge to modify such a beautiful original. If the bug bites you that badly, consider getting a beater-'bird and modify the heck out if it!
