Here's a picture of my 1954 Willys Station Wagon. I've recently aquired a 1975 Chevy K5 Blazer to use as a donor vehicle. I'm planning a chassis swap. I hope to keep this site updated with the progress. Feel free to contact me with ideas, questions or comments.
The 1975 K5 has the Dana 44 front end and Corporate 12 bolt rear end. This K5 has a year old crate motor, Edelbrock Performer intake and carb. I believe it has the NP203 transfer case, but the Willys has an NP205, which I will keep. I haven't measured precisely but the wheelbases are pretty close, near 107 inches.
Some day soon I'll have a 1975 Blazer with a Willys chassis and worn out motor. What a great day that will be! 'Cause that means I have a 1954 Willys with a K5 chassis and strong motor.

Got the K5 body off!! It took a couple of hours.
No real hang-ups except for the little torsion springs that help the tailgate up. They're attached to the bumper. We couldn't get to a couple of the bolts because of the hitch that was welded to the frame. We just torched the heads off the bolts and didn't worry too much about the bumper. I know, I could have cut the hitch off to save the bumper, but then I would have had to attach it again.
We pressure washed it clean and plan on pulling the smog equipment off next, then possibly installing a NP435 transmission. Just need to find out if it will mate with the transfer case as-is or figure out a divorced setup. We'll probably divorce it, just because I can.
Check out my new custom K5! Talk about clearance!
Now it's waiting to get the smog equipment stripped off.

Got the smog pump and rails pulled off. That's it for now.

Got the single exhaust out of the way for the dual system that's going to come from the Willy's.

Haven't touched it for a while. Been really busy. My next step is to separate the Willys chassis and body. Hopefully within the week, but probably two.

Finally got to work on it!! Check out page 2.
