I've had 5 cars and this is without a doubt my favorite one. I fell in love with it when I saw it at my friends house earlier this summer and I told him that I was going to have it eventually. As luck would have it, in september an old woman totalled my Eclipse and with the insurance money I bought the Z from my friend's dad. Right now I'm focusing more on restoring it than anything else, but I tend to add a little extra spark wherever I replace something.

After doing a full tune-up, I had a single outlet turbo muffler installed to replace the rattling stock muffler. At first this was only temporary untill I got an entire system (downpipe, cat, cat-back), but I'm starting to like how quiet the current muffler is. After that, I wanted to increase the boost. I bought a TurboXS dual-stage manual boost controller and set stage 1 at roughly 10 psi.

After that, I replaced the ricey filter with a K&N cone filter and cut a chrome Civic short ram intake pipe to replace my stock resonator. While the resonator replacement has absolutely NO affect on power (I REPEAT, NONE...ricers), the sound does change when coming off of boost.

I've still got some more pictures I need to sort out, as well as a few other projects. In fact, I'm going to go put hood pins on now. These actually serve a purpose, though. The Z31 isn't the friendliest car when it comes to letting you open it's hood.

sweet civic intake !!!! well, you CAN advance your timing at the dizzy on these cars for a little better performance, you have to use good gas though. also if you plan on doing any spirited driving, save up for parts. they break easy and cost a bundle to make even semi-fast. it is a pretty car though!
