As you can tell this is my black 1999 SVT Cobra. Spent about a year looking for the car and finally found it online in Indiana. Drove out and came home with the biggest grin on my face. It is a great car and so fun to drive. I only take it out on nice days, it's only seen rain a couple of times, and it never sees snow because I store it in winter (this part is really killing me now). It's so much cheaper this way and I wouldn't take it to college anyway. I have had the pleasure of testing an 04 cobra and a Roush 360R and i would LOVE to have one of those cars in my garage but thats not very practical. My car still kicks butt for a young guy like me. My DD is a sweet 93 Buick Regal but with its transmission crapping out, I have been driving around a 97 Ford Ranger which has been quite fun. This year I'm taking the Cobra out to the dragway to see what i can do with it. Next year maybe i can check out a road course.
*Update* Went to the dragstrip and laid down a baseline, not saying what it was, but it can be a lot faster. It will be this summer.
