Description

This is my latest project a nissan largo 2.0 td
And as the first 1 in my town is turning a few heads.

At the moment i have only worked on the paint but as soon as i have built up enough cash will be putting 4 17inch screens in back and 2 7inch screens in front running dvd and tv.

Rear

The rear interior seats 5 and has multi postioning seats which also convert to beds is very simlar to the toyota hiace
there is 4 seprate sun roofs wich ar covered by blinds in the back, all windows are tinted out but for extra tint i have had all rear windows treated with vertron so as you can imagine can see out fine but try lookin in and all you see is yourself in mirror

The rear also has air conditioning seprate from the front which is controled by remote control unfortunatly the remote is all in japanese so F I Technologys is making a identical remote but in english as i did not want to deface the remote that came with vehcle as it is its a imported model and would like to keep as much as possible original.

Drivers Area

The main problem i have with the drivers area at the moment is the stereo system as i need to replace it with a dvd,mp3 system but the size of the system i`m going to put in is 5mm smaller then the size of system there, so have been hunting the internet for a company that can make up a fill that will match the wood effect covering as i like to keep all original

The driving is controled by a automatic gearbox with all the standard features overdrive, cruse control, traction control ect
Above the stereo is the air con control which can also over ride the back controls

Usefull Hints

K, here are some usefull hints if you decide to buy or own 1 of these,

1 to check oil you need to fold down passenger seat and slide it back, lift up carpet in front of seat and there you will find 2 clips, unclip them and lift up hatch, then you will see a smaller hatch held down by a winged screw, you remove this plate and oil check and fill is under there

2, Transmission fluid is under the drivers seat, to a get to it you just slide drivers seat forward and under carpet is a hatch held down by 3 10mm bolts remove, and you will find

3, Water is checked under to front bonnet (easy)

Hi All.....have you still got your Largo Duffy? Many thanks for putting all the info together, most useful for new Largo owners. I'll put your link up on Nissan Largo Owners ( www.nissan-largo.co.uk ). I'm down in Cornwall (UK)and there's about 10 Largos I've seen around my area. Some of us met online and we're going to have a get together, prob next month (April) and most certainly be attending some of the custom shows down this way.
Cheers

Nice ride! I got a 96 I am tryin to pimp up but ride now am just worried about the mechanics of it since bringing from Japan to Germany. When my van is idling, there is a pinging noise and was told this is notorious with the Nissan Largo and Serena's. Have you ever heard of this and what causes this pinging noise? Thanks!

Duffy!! I am back with a problem - I need a wiring diagram as don't trust my judgement on determining which wire is which so as to fit my new car alarm. Any ideas??? Wiring diagram for a Nissan Largo - Serena may be suitable also.... Cheers... psy.
