Well, this car was a real steal -- "$100 and tow it outta my yard, it's an eye-sore." (Complete story on page 2) So, we did...here's the beginning of the "after." More pics with updated graphics to come soon (we've cleaned up the overspray on the hands and have added graphic flames in black/gold/green/orange/red) to the rear wheel areas, and have re-installed lights, center caps, etc. and just installed a brand new black vinyl top. Check for updates often.

Now, the graphics have a story...the artist is Greek/Armenian. He came to this country as a little boy and understands what it is to be "free." He understands what it means to live in poverty, he's traveled the entire world and has seen the perils of living in other countries. He very much appreciates the opportunities available to anyone living in the United States -- he'll tell you so in a heartbeat. He's now 31 years old, owns his own body shop and is a very special man in my life.
The picture...
The three most important things in the world to this man, God, water and freedom. The center of the hood has two hands (glowing) to represent God's hands. God's hands are holding the most important element in the world -- water. The water is spilling from the hands.

The spilling water flows into two billowing American flags that cover both front fenders -- they represent freedom.

The back of the car was supposed to have a graphic depiction of the two World Trade Center towers engulfed in flames with various newspaper clippings (also in flames) with the headlines noting the date and caption of Sept 11th. Right after the front of the car was completed it was rear-ended...until we can find the various parts for the car (which is next to impossible due to the car being a convertible and the rarity of third gen convertibles) we won't be finishing the back graphic. Right now the trunk lid is so full of bondo that it rubs against the top cover and weighs about 50 lbs, same goes for the fenders. The fins were hand crafted from fiberglass as we couldn't find replacement wings for the rear. Any work done at this point would be a waste of effort as with each entry/slamming of the trunk the paint chips...so if anyone wants to donate a trunk lid or fenders....LOL.
She was supposed to be ready for the 2005 Annual Ride for Pride sponsored by F-Body Hideout, but engine trouble kept her garaged. We both made the trip in "Dark Shadow" though and hopefully next year she'll be sea-worthy and we won't just be talking about our Sept. 11 tribute, but we'll be driving it.
Thanks for checking out my latest F-Body Ride and I hope you can appreciate the graphics as much as I do.
Here's his '92 T/A convertible for those who can't believe we have so many...

The day was too sunny, so the pics aren't the greatest. I'll get more another day.
