Here is my father's grocery getter :-D
It's a 1965 Mustang Coupe (could you tell?). It's been completely modified and rebuilt by my father (it has shaved logos which were supposed to get airbrushed on, but that fell through due to a divorce). It's got a heavily modified 302 (350-400 HP).
It's punched and ported -- it runs a different crank and cam than stock -- it uses some 351W parts and fires in a non-stock order. It has timing gears instead of a double chain. Recently on an Ice Cream run we blew up a TCI transmission. We also completely smoked a 1972 Mach 1 With a 428 and ram-air on the way into a show in my hometown 2 years ago. The owner then quickly said "OH SHIT!" and rebuilt his entire engine.
My father says it's up for a repaint and undercarriage work. He's adding subframe connectors -- Shelby style traction bars and more. It's also due up for a radio (currently there isn't one -- the stock opening. He may pull the engine and put in a 351W that's been stroked and poked to 427 CI. The interior is completely stock and the buckets aren't high backs so we have everyone wear neck braces before they get in -- haha -- just kidding, but it will snap your neck to hell and back.
