Hey Ernest, Nice truck Bud, So you want to stuff a V8 Chevy in that pup. Man it's a very tight fit with the cross member and the oil pan being right in the way of the steering. Closing the hood could be a problem, but guy's have done it. It's pain staking work. I suggest visiting the WWW.mightyD50.com, there are some great guy's there that will give you some advise. As long you are not doing a body drop you should be fine. My 86 has a 2" body drop and the air cleaner is as close as a piece a paper, in fact the air cleaner is rubbing the paint under the hood. Maxheadroom @ mightyd50 has a 302 in his, the Fords Oil sump is in front, I would have a chat with Jason, he's great guy and will tell you anything you want to know.... THERE is Nothing bad about a 302...Jason's truck has to be pushing close to 450hp There is another v8 chevy mightymax here, the guy's name is Rick, but I think he sold it, but it's worth a try to contact him here. My chevy Vortec V6 was a pain the, you know what! I will add you as a friend, so we an talk more about your plans. My Best wishes Rick

love the truck, I think the wheels are great looking. the 18" fills up the wells. I wanted to ask you where you found the wood dash kit. I've been searching all over the web with no luck, when I saw it in your beautiful custom interior, I knew it had to out there some where. unfortunately there is no e-mail address on this site to contact anyone ,so I have to ask you thru the comment section. I'm lilblue90, please write me back as soon as possible at odie239@comcast.net
