My 76 FJ40 has got it going on. It has a spring over axle conversion plus 2 inches of body lift for a total of 8 inches of lift. It is riding on 35x12.50 tires. It has disc brakes at all four corners. There is a GM SM420 transmission in it which makes for one heck of a nice comprimise between rock crawling low speeds and the ability to run down the highway. All the shocks have been replaced by 9012 Rancho RS 9000's which are adjustable. The rear shackles have been changed to a version of a Revolver or missing link, and there is a form of a traction bar on the rear axle to keep it from spring wraping that the SOA (spring over axle) FJ40's are known for.

There is a York air compressor hooked up on the engine which will automatically keep 90 Psi in the tank that you can see from the back. There is also a header and 2 1/2 inch exhaust on it. Other than that it is mostly stock under the hood.

It came with a 8,000# Ramsey industrial winch which I traded to the previous owner for a butt load of extra and spare parts. The bib is flipped I know it will be fixed when I give it a paint job in the near future.

The interior has a front roll cage and a set of racing buckets which are hard on the behind after a while driving.

It came with the bikini top, half and full soft doors, hard doors and top.

Here is what it looks like with the hard top and doors on it.

I finally made it to Attica over easter weekend 06 for the Hoosier Cruisers meeting with the Toyota FJ Cruiser Trail Team.

It gets flexy on the RTI ramp to the tune of a 622 score. One tire 28 inches of the ground with the other three still touching.

I went through the old Purgatory rock garden at the cory, it was a blast and no problem at all with the help of my spotter Travis.

I also had some fun on this double rock ledge other than the blast we had out on the trail.

New additions include a 7500 # champion winch (it was cheap at SAM's club), a set of D shackle mounts on the front bumper, a new set of 35x12.50 Pro Comp Mud Terrains, and a Sony CD player that I hook my MP3 player up to.
