icspots’s Mazda MAZDA3

    • Currently 3.6/5 Stars.

Here's my 3. It's a 2005 lava orange 5-door, and they only made them with this color for two years. In '04 it was in 4 or 5 door, and '05 you could only get a 5-door. They only built 984 5-doors in this color in '05, so while not as rare as some 3's it's not exactly commonplace.

icspots's 2005 Mazda 3 The auto-dim mirror that mazda offers is a really cool little toy, and now that I've got one in this car I get really annoyed with driving in a car without one. At night when it senses light behind the car is dims the mirror. It ends up going darker than the conventional night/day mirror but you can actually see better through it and with less glare. This model also shows a compass and the exterior ambient temperature.

It wasn't actually that hot when I took that picture, but the car was in the sun all day and I only turned it on to get a picture of the display. ;)

icspots's 2005 Mazda 3 Here's a shot of the bumper step plates. They're not much to look at, but they do help keep the bumper from being scratched up while loading and unloading stuff from the back. (Note: the car reflected in my hatch door is my sister's '94 protege. Woooo, mazda family!)
