Ok so here is the vehicle as I drove it home On August 26th, 2005. my wife and I were given this gem- that's right free and clear. In fact the previous owner wanted to pay us to take it off his hands. It stalled on me 5 times getting it out of his driveway. When I went back to pick up my wife's car the previous owner gave me the receipt that showed $1600.00 worth of engine work. They replaced the carb and headgasket. yet the car was still stalling. A week later I bought Car Repairs for Dummies. I adjusted the carb, it no longer stalls but it idles high. Yesteday I took it back to the dealership that did the work. They are going to make good on the engine work that was done on June 7, 2005

I'm sure it's the pcv.. I had that problem as well. i bought my car from a guy who let it sit in his garage. I took the carb. cover off and the pcv and clean'd everything. it was nasty. I have a problem with 1 & 2 gear, my car keeps kicking like it wants too stall or somthing... Any ideas??

Hey Lil Renegade. Just got the car back from the shop. They need to ordera "new" carb for it. Apparently the one I have is bad. They tweaked it so I can drive it until they get the new one in. It's all under the the previous owners warranty. No charge to me. it's running a little better now. I am looking to switch the rims over to 5 lugs now. The front ground effect has lost some screws, I have to get that taken care of. I am still looking convert this car into a Wraith car.

the stalling problem could be the carb spacer or the pcv vac line is bad, my 87 stalls until it warms up, but has a bad hesitation, i may have to replace the carb also..
