This is my ACCORD 97 EX 5sp

What up?! Thanks for checking out on my ride! I'm proud of it since most of the stuff done to this car is made by myself.
I am a big fan of Honda, but I am a accord lover, all years and all models.
Bought the car beginning of this year (2005), and it had some stuff done to it already. This is how it looked when I got it.

It had 17's (I believe they are "racing hart"), an exhaust and 3 screens inside. Nice sound inside, some "white glow" gauges and "aluminum" trim around dash and console.

Anyway, after I bought the car I found out the it had been in an accident, and it was totaled. That sucks... but... decided to keep the car and not to look back!
I had never been a big fan of performace or big money spent on cars. But I decided to do a few mods on my car just to feel some more power for the fun of it.
I got a shor ram intake and header. Both installed at same time... dawg... it pulls much better than stock! I would guess that I have at least more than 160hp as is.

I've installed a short shif to reduce the throw, and I'm planning on cutting one inch off the stick and weld it back to have it even shorter.

When I got the car, it had some ugly ass chrome after market headlights, with projectors pointing straight down. I took them off and installed a 1 piece "dual halo" projector with black housing. Tail lights were ugly as well, being those Altezza chrome, I decided to hide the chrome adding a "smoke" effect, which actually makes the car look better and a lot of people tell me that it looks very original! "...thanks, I did it myself..."

I had been thinking about making my interior a little different from other Hondas, so I bought a used euro dash. The part was originally yellow, but the previous owner painted in black. I removed all the stuff in the interior, to paint everything I wanted to at the same time. It took 2 weeks of cleaning, preparing and doing it. Actually, the hardest thing was removing the black paint from the Euro dash and getting it ready to receive a new look with a proper painting.

After installed, the interior of the car looked cleaner and more unique than ever before. I used a "smoke gray effect" color, and painted key holder, console and dash bezel and euro dash.
Unfortunately, I don't have a pic of the car with everything installed, but it's coming soon!
I've just got a MSD package, with wires, distribuitor and coil 2 blaster to get more spark to the engine, eventually adding a few more ponnies!
A suspension has been installed, I got coil overs and adjustable shocks, which I think are the best bang for the buck, a great mod! Added upper front strut bar to reinforce the chassis and improve cornering.

I plan on getting in the future:

>>Unorthodox stock diameter pulleys(3). That alone will increase 15% of my current horsepower, and will let the engine run smoother while using AC. More horse power will be deliverd to the wheels as well since it is all aluminum and light weight pulleys.
>>Flowmaster Catalyctic converter and custom 2.25 full down pipe. Keeping the emissions down as supposed to and increasing horse power due the bigger exhaust air flow.
>>Aluminum flywheel and Stage 2 clucth kit. To allow the engine to spin at its best without the weight of stock flywheel and to put more ponnies to the wheel by getting a street performance clutch and disc.
>>Bored and polished throtle body, throtle spacer and intake manifold. More air means more power, if the engine can support more air flow it will increase it's potential.
