Appearance and Misc. Modifications
- Sometimes you don't have to say much to say a lot. The less I have to say, the better I feel.
---- SRT-4 Rear Spoiler ----
When I first set eyes on my neon, something just was not right with the rear end. It NEEDS a spoiler. It just doesn't look any good without one in stock form. So, I set out and got the High Rise SRT-4 spoiler off of dodgeparts.com

The SRT-4 Spoiler was installed. I painted it myself to avoid a ridiculous amount of money and to make sure it was the right paint.
Painted and installed: 9/24/05
---- Mopar 3D Tail Lights ----
I had ordered the Mopar 3D tail lights from the same store (dodgeparts.com) around the same time as I ordered the spoiler, and got them in just a few short days later. Boy, what an easy and uplifting modification. 20 minutes and my rear end changed forever!

Installed on: 9/28/05
---- Radar Detector Re-wire ----
As you can see I bought a radar detector. I decided to keep my lighter free for my I-pod transmitter. So i re-wired my radar directly to my fuse box. Looks really good. I'm happy with how it looks!!

---- Antenna X Shorty Antenna ----
Looking at the neon, one part really stood out. A long, ugly metal antenna. It was so ugly i couldn't live with it anymore. I found a good antenna off of e-bay (of all places), sold by antenna x. VERY GOOD ANTENNA! I am surprised by its performance, even living in the boonies. They make shorty antenna's for tons of models and they are very reliable. Good Product. Anyways, pictures below...
Installed on: 4/29/06
---- Powder Coated Red Valve Cover ----
I decided to jazz up my engine bay and tie a lot of colors together. So, with that, I got a powder coated valve cover. I looked around at several, and this one I fell in love with. A polished "2.0 SOHC" in silver really emphasizes that point of the valve cover. Anyway, thats why I got it.
Installed on: 9/1/06
FINAL NOTES:
The best thing about this install, to me, was it was both cheap and very nice to look at. It cost me 45 WITH SHIPPING!! How could I lose? Well... I had to fabricate a couple hose connectors to get them to connect, and the best part was it did not COME with gaskets. So... I whent and had to get 3 different sets (becuase appearently auto zone does not know that a dodge neon is NOT a ford focus....). Anyways... it is done and looks great!
---- Sony Xplode 6x9 Rear Speakers ----
I purchased some 6x9 Sony Xplodes because my rear speakers simply weren't cutting it. They were under powered for there ONLY being 2 in the rear, and 4 (yes 4) up front. So, I installed them and cut the out. I need some extra carpet to make it look real clean... but in total in looks REAL clean!
Installed on: 10/14/06
---- Mopar Lip Kit ----
The story behind these parts making it to my door step is completely by the moment I was in. Looking around my local forum, I saw that all Mopar dealers that sold these kits, were discounted all Mopar Lip kits until they were all gone. I had long wanted a lip kit for my car, and saw this as my one chance to buy it before they were all gone! With that, I quickly grabbed mine for a measly 180 shipped to my DOOR!!

Painted and Installed on: 6/30/07
---- MPx Oil Cap ----
I decided to go out and buy some new things. I went ahead and purchased a new oil cap. I was in the middle of ordering some turbo goodies and thought it would be 20 dollars well spent. It was!
