ENGINE PAGE
I just got the engine block back from being machined. I also had just the short block assembled.
Inside is a set of custom Ross forged pistons(notice the fancy cnc machinework on the surface of them). It also got a set of TotalSeal Gapless rings. I'm using forged Eagle rods from a 351W. I also had a forged crank from a supercoupe machined to fit in the .030 oversized mustang block.
I put an oil pan on from a t-bird supercoupe. It now takes 7qts of Mobil 1. I also customized the headers with some welding and much machinework to match up with the massive porting on the heads. I also needed to cut my own exhaust gaskets.
I got the block back at 2:00pm on Monday. It was finally in the frame by 1:30am with the new 3000rpm Holeshot stall converter.

It started amazingly fast on the first few revolutions. I had to modify the intercooler tubing, throttle linkage, egr tube, an d a whole bunch of other stuff. It now has a 90mm maf, a throttle body from a supercoupe, full synthetic B+M trans fluid, and a whole bunch of other stuff.
This car really moves!! I am easily able to break the tires loose while traveling at 20mph. I haven't even floored it yet because it is still being broken in. This month it is getting a set of drag meats. Once the 8.8 rear is installed, I'll be experimenting with supercharger porting, smaller pulleys, nos, intercoolers, larger throttle bodies, inlet plenum porting, co2 icers, and supercharger top spacers. That block is bulletproof now.
Thanks for looking!!
