The engine is a series II VR engine
i wanted to build something different with a bit of boogie and great economy with 150Kw the V6 seemed like a good idea
Mechanically i tried to fit as many standard commodore parts as i could.
In terms of fitment there was very little mods required to get the engine in
-The battery was relocated to the right side
-a small amount of the seam at the rear of the engine bay
was trimmed to clear the throttle body
-a few brackets welded in to hold fuses, the radiator, the
clutch cable and the accelerator cable all are commodore
parts and very easy to get brand new
The car has 4 wheel disc brakes from (f) VT the rotors are VP and (R) VS V8
The Trans is a T5 5 spd and the diff is a Borg Warner VS 5ltr 4.11 mini spool
Suspension is uprated nolothane bushes throughout and heavy duty sway bars are fitted
