The pictures that follow this one just show how i got the car and the long road it has taken and the many plans ahead. It is a 1992 honda civic dx hatchback. I bought the car for $1700 from a kid in kansas (Redneck!)he obviously didn't realize the potential this car had. He bought the car from a guy in wichita KS who did an alright job of installing the engine. Then again the motor mounts werent right, the engine wiring wasn't all correct, no O2 sensor, NO VTEC!!!, and the exterior of the car wasn't very well taken care of. It has a B17A1 DOHC VTEC out of a 93 integra gsr. the modifications that I have done to the car/engine consist of:
unorthodox crank pulley
ram air intake
chikara header
full header back 2.5 exhaust, no cat
FIXED THE VTEC!!!! (huge difference!)
accel thundersport 8mm plug wires
Denso iridium plugs
highoutput ignition coil
ground control coilovers
strut braces all around
new hood
new fenders
mugen front lip
removed inner bumpers
removed all interior
5lb. racing seat
Peak racing equipment 4 point harnesses
relocated guage cluster

BFG Drag radials
centerforce dual friction racing clutch
With this setup, i was only able to run a 15.7 @ 88mph. so it was obvious that i either had to boost or buy a new motor! SOO.....new motor it was! Hell...why not a whole new car?
