My new car :D It's just plain awesome
Well it's not technically new, I've had it almost immediately after killing my Rivi in Spring. And I'm proud to say I actually drove this one home after a jumpstart.
I was sort of torn between this or an Imperial sitting next to it, but due to the Imperial's condition and the Mercury's mileage (58,005), the Merc came out on top :) And I'm damn happy with my choice. This thing drives wonderfully and everything works (including that cool breezeway window and the AM radio). And as my girlfriend says, "It is damn awesome. And it's a thousand times better than cherries." :D
It is now Sept 20th and I've driven the car for over 1000 miles (that goes without saying all the work I put in it to get it road worthy). That includes brake work, rear end, shocks, tune up stuff like points and condenser, etc.
I'm hoping to have the exhaust done during the school year and to paint it during the summer.
