Sadly I have not been able to drive my truck in over a year. It has been sitting behind my house for that long after I sold the D44 front out of it to put in my Dana60. Why is it taking so long? I am going to start sled pulling with this truck. My D60 is a leaf-spring unit, and my current frame is setup for coils. I have another 79' Bronco frame already setup for my D60 to slide right in, all I have to do is get it setup for sled pulling(brackets for ladderbars[front&rear]/shock mounts/trick pulling hitch/and paint it al nice like. Also, I sold the Irok/Mickey Thompson combo and will be rollin' on Boggers(prob.39.5/42) so I will be lifting it up, which means new leaf springs(front/rear). The gearing will also swapped out for 4.56 units and my front end still needs to be put together. All this stuff takes time (not to mention large amounts of $$$) so I hope to have it back on the road maybe sometime this summer??? I will be posting pictures of my progress however and it may be even sooner if I fall into some money, so here's praying for the lottery!
Just some other odd pictures to show what went on over the past few years with this truck. Also like to say that this could not have been done to this extent without the help and expertise of my dad, who spent alot of time(or $$$ sometimes) doing the things I could not at the time, and had he not had his shop it would almost certainly have taken much longer b/c I HATE BODY WORK!!! By the way I would like to credit him and his shop for all the great work he/they did so here goes:
