this is my 01 dakota. i bought it about 6 months ago, it had pretty good paint and few dents. ive been working on it for almost as long as ive had it. so far ive had good luck, except for a few really late parts. ive uploaded a few pics of the work ive done. i bought my parts from Sir Michaels. i used DUPONT paint, and a RETRO GLOW (neon green) from ALSA corp.
this is the front of my truck before i painted it

i lowered the back with a kit from OREILLY AUTO PARTS. The blocks gave me a 3 inch lower rear end,which brought the truck just below level.
htis pic was taken after i installed the blocks, its hard to tell in this picture but it is actually lower than the front.

this is where i had finally got the parts in. (roll pan, license plate box and tailgate handle shave kit)it looks funny dont it!

here is where i started filling in the 3 grooves that ran across the tail gate with DYNALITE body filler.

i shot it with a couple layers of primer to help smooth out the filler and blend it with the contour of hte metal.
