Total control. This fully programmable ECU (Engine Control Unit) gives you the ability to change everything from fuel and timing curves to the temperature at which your fan turns on. If you want to produce safe power out of a forced induction engine, it`s a must - so it`s included with many of our kits. Also eliminates the stock airflow meter for less intake restriction. Naturally aspirated cars benefit as well! This is the most popular engine management for the Miata, and for good reason. The software that the ECU runs is written specifically for the Miata and is not available anywhere else. Instead of adapting a generic computer and sensors to your car, this will start up the first time and has been developed to make your Miata run as well as possible. To safeguard your engine, it will even go into a limp-home mode if the certain sensors indicate a problem. Naturally it comes with Flyin' Miata's full support by both phone and email. Customer reviews of this product. Simple plug-in installation for the 1996-97 version. A couple of wires have to be moved in the harness for earlier cars. Four wire oxygen sensor recommended for 1990-93 cars. Optional boost control solenoid offers fully integrated electronic boost control for turbocharged cars. When matched with a serialLink (included below) and a laptop (not included), full datalogging is available. Several datalogging programs are available, from the outstanding Data Log Lab for datalogging and analysis to the real-time RTLink. Datalogs can be shared with Flyin' Miata, making this a truly powerful tuning tool. Most current revision (4/26/2005, MSTR2826 with Default fix: Z820 and Z835 were transposed). Includes programming keypad and intake temperature sensor. Mk II OBD 088, OS 115, ECU 5367B

This allows you to use a laptop or handheld computer (or a desktop machine if you have a long enough cord!) to record everything your Link is doing. This makes it easier to tune the computer. You can even email datalogs to Flyin' Miata for free analysis. Required in order to use Data Log Lab, RTLink or any other datalogging or analysis software. Not compatible with the stock ECU or the piggyback Link.

DISPLAY:
Wideband oxygen sensor kit PLX-M300 PLX Devices M300 Kit Wideband Air-Fuel Controller (UEGO) with 4 digit digital display readout.
$299.00 ($379.00 FM Item Number: 06-99100 )
http://www.plxdevices.com/
Normal oxygen sensors are only accurate around stoichiometric (14.7:1) air/fuel mixtures. If you run more rich or more lean, they'll give you misleading readings. Wideband sensors avoid this problem. That's why they're used on every dyno. Complete, ready-to-install wideband setup. Includes sensor, electronics, wiring. The sensor responds fast enough to autotune boosted cars. This is not a plug-in installation. This unit will measure from 9:1 to 19:1 air/fuel ratios. This unit does includes a 4 digit digital display that can be wired in to an aftermarket ECU that supports wideband sensors (such as the 1990-97 Link ECUs). The Link ECU has the ability to tune the fuel delivery using a wide band O2 (WBO2) sensor. Link will accept the 0-5 volt (Standard Wideband signal) signal on the green/red wire in position 3J. This wire is normally used by the EGR system but is pirated for the WBO2. EGR will need to be turned off and the plug disconnected from the EGR valve on the rear of the intake manifold. Making the appropriate ECU settings will be covered in the ECU tuning manual (WBO2 and EGR are not simultaneously supported in the Link ECU).

SENSOR:
Bosch LSU4.2 5-wire, wide-band O2 sensor
Replacement sensors are $30-$90. A replacement wideband sensor that plugs into an Innovate LC-1 or LM-1 wideband controller. This is the same sensor included in our LC-1 With Sensor and LM-1 kits. The wideband lambda sensor LSU is a planar ZrO2 dual cell limiting current sensor with integrated heater. It is used to measure the oxygen content and the lambda value of engine exhaust gases. Its output signal in the range of lambda = 0.7 to air makes the LSU capable to be used as an universal sensor for lambda = 1 measurement as well as for other lambda ranges. The connector module carries a trimming resistor, which defines the characteristics of the sensor and is necessary for the sensor function. The wide band sensor LSU operates only in conjunction with a special control unit.

This pulley is added to existing crank pulley. Ideally the SC nose pulley and engine crank pulley are matched to produce maximum speed (red line) for the supercharger at the maximum speed of engine use (red line). Engine maximum occurs at 6,400-7,000 rpm. Supercharger minimum speed is about 4,000 rpm, and maximum = 16,000-17,000. Calculated by CP/NP=BS where Nose Pulley = NP (mm), Crank Pulley = CP (mm), Bore Speed Ratio = BSR, Bore Speed = BS (rpm). With a 150 mm crank pulley and 65 mm SC nose pulley and at the engine redline of 7,000 rpm the SC will be spinning at 16,154 rpm.

The blower is 1 liter or 62 cubic inches (MP62) per revolution. It spins at Crank pulley/nose pulley * RPM. With a stock 105mm crank pulley and 65mm nose pulley, it will spin at 105/65 * 7000 * 1L = 11,307 LPM or 701,034 cu-in/min or 405.6 cu-ft/min (1728 cu-in in a cu-ft).

Where did you get the white gauge faces? I've been looking for a set exactly like those and can't find any. I like the bright blue illumination, but most of the reverse-el gauges have a luminous ring in the center around the needle that I couldn't live with.
