Well let me explain to everyone that this page is a continuation of my old page (bmxporsche944) which got accidentally turned into black94vette... you can still check it out though by clicking here!

Here's the story...

Having an aunt that ownes a junkyard certainly has its advantages... I got this Porsche 944 in January 2004 for free!!! Actually the car was wrecked, and we agreed that if I paid for damage costs, which ended up being about $1,400, then I could have the car. I do not have pictures of the car before it was repaired, but i hope you enjoy the ones i have of it afterwards!

Obviously I have blacked out the tail lights, using a spray tint I got on ebay... easy to apply, looks good in my opinion.

You can tell here that I actually redded out my tail lights before I blacked them out, too bad this is the only pic I have. (below)

The rims/tires I got on ebay for just $450 bucks, the rims are 16" Ronal's painted red with a chrome lip and the tires are Yokohama AV-1, they still had a good oh 35% tread left when i got em... The picture below on the right shows the rims on the previous owner's car.

Performance components include: K&N cone air filter, Otto Racing DTM style muffler, Jacobs Energy blue 8.5mm ignition wires, a DME upgrade (which did nothing), Broadfoot Racing pulleys, Weltmeister short-throw shift kit, and a Weltmeister throttle responce cam. As you can see in the pictures, I glass-bead blasted the purple piece that connecting to the filter so it would be silver. On the right side picture are two of the four pulleys.

AUTOCROSS 2005! the last florida-citrus region PCA autocross event for the year was November 5th at the Taveres Police training facilities in Taveres, Florida. This is the first autocross event I have ever been to and it was a blast! Here are some pictures of me ripping up the course...

Nice car! I saw you are in Florida. You should check out www.FloridaGerman.com. It's a car club for German car enthusiasts in Florida. We have regular meets and would be great to see the car! See you there!

I was thinking of converting to a 87 DME and air flow meter and then add a chip or get the chip for early models from, http://frwilk.com. I can't make up my mind...
