1987 Buick Riviera T-Type
Car is sold!
Here are some pictures of my car taken in Summer 2001.
Since these pictures were taken, I have done the following:
- Custom Dual Exhaust w/ Flowmaster Muffler
- New Michelin X-One tires
- Painted headlight bezels
- Installed a Superchips performance computer chip
- Tined back window (5%)
These are pictures of when I removed my transmission to have it rebuilt in January 2002.
I had the transmission rebuilt by a good friend of mine. He did his little tricks and now it shifts a lot more firmer and will last a lot longer.
The black apparatus hanging in my engine compartment is the engine support. It held the engine up while I removed the transmission. This kept me from having to remove the engine and prevented everything from falling on me while I was under the car. Also, while I had the tranny out, I replaced the rusted cradle bushings with new ones.
