I recently sold this car for a 1993 mazda RX-7. I am also enlisting in the army so I won't be updating these pages anymore. I had fun on here! Stay safe on the streets guys!

Welcome to my 1989 Shelby CSX-VNT page! This car originally started out as a Dodge Shadow. Carroll Shelby bought 500 of these cars, took them to his plant, and modified them. This is #68 of 500. This is not a recaro option car, but a wide tire option. It comes from the factory with 225 wide tires.

As you can see the interior is mint. For some specs, it's running a new VNT turbo @ 18psi of boost. It's awaiting full 3" exhaust, cold air intake, intercooler, Garrett T3/T4 hybrid turbocharger, 568 transmission and a limited slip differential. I am also getting the head ported this winter. It's putting out roughly 250hp right now.

Letting you know, meaning that the A555 Getrag is still the strongest transaxle avaliable for any Shadow/Sundance/Duster/CSX, etc. If you were looking to replace it, then that I would not recommend under any circumstances. First, the car takes a dive in re-sell value, because the tranny numbers were changed, and anything else out there is much weaker and just simply wouldn't handle the power like the a555 would. A buddy of mine has a CSX, and rebuilt the original tranny, and you couldn't ask for anything better. Again, no offense to any plans you have, just letting you know. I believe you would be much better off keeping the a555 if that's what you were planning on replacing. Again, props for the car, take care of her. - Josh.
