Ralley gauges are in and WHAT A PAIN that was!!! Very nice to have oil pressure and temperature gauges so I know exactly how she's doing under those three carbs. This was by far, the hardest of all the mods I have done. In doing that, the center air duct that goes to the vent above the AC controls is not installed and therefore, the fan blows air only to underneath the dash, not through the vents. I assembled everything then found that duct sitting on the floor and was just too frustrated with FINALLY getting everything back together to tear it all down again! No big deal, never turned the fan on anyway! To compliment the interior I also added a new glovebox, the correct 3 speed black shifter knob, and new brake/accelerator/parking brake pedals and matching stainless trim. A new headlight switch and key cylinder were also added.

You can also see the fan guard added as well. When I pulled apart the dash, I gouged the wood onlay and decided to just remove the entire piece. I have ordered a new one and that will be installed when I get back at month's end. Car runs at a perfect 180-190 degrees with the new radiator. I also ordered the correct alternator strap for a tripower and will mount that when I get back too. All the mods done: Tripower, Ralley gauges, Wood Steering wheel, 4 core radiator, pedals/trim, glove box, shift knob, wiper washer bottle/hoses, dash onlay, fan guard, chrome valve covers, new tires. That's it. Next items I will want to add are new tail lights but that's a simple winter's day project. For now...it's time for some Fall cruising!!!!

Nice resto but pontiac 400 ci motors werent considered big blocks neither were any other pontiac motor. Pontiac used the same block from 326-455 ci. So most parts are interchangeable.
