Here's the data tag to the left, and the door tag to the right. The tag in the door matches this one too so for any doubters about it being a real GTO, run the numbers! In fact, lets do it! This is what I've deduced from this plate:

11E = Car body Assembled 11th month (November) fifth week (E)
ST = Style
67 = 1967
242 = GTO
17 = Hardtop
BF = Freemont, California assembly plant
03499 = 3499th body out of 65,176 hardtops produced in 67
TR = Trim
223 = Black Vinyl Bucket seats
B80 = The Freemont California plant used a UPS code for certain options put on the car, but not all. This code means Chrome Drip Rail Moldings
C08 = Cardova Roof Covering (vinyl top)

The last line is what I'm not sure of. I've applied for PHS documentaion, then something got screwed up, and never received it. I know the other options my car has, and that last line or VIN may show it in a PHS transcript is: power steering, air conditioning, Ralley II wheels, center console, tinted glass, high lift suspension, WT code 400 V8 and HD 3 speed trans, and I think that's it. Hope that helps some people. The rear axle is stamped K88 which when I ran the numbers made sense with the K = 3.55 ratio, the 88 I'm not sure of. Jacking the car up and spinning a wheel shows it's not a posi. Want the engine codes and numbers? Go to page 19 as i listed that all there.

Nice resto but pontiac 400 ci motors werent considered big blocks neither were any other pontiac motor. Pontiac used the same block from 326-455 ci. So most parts are interchangeable.

Awesome car. I don't know why it doesn't have 5 stars.
