Sorry i haven't been updating my space here, my parents were over for the week so I had them outside helping me out with the car.
My mom started by completely gutting the inside of the car(anybody need any of the interior of 97?). She then laid down a thick layer of rhino lightning, once that was nice a dry she began to cut out cardboard templates for the custom moldings she was going to make. With the templates done she began fiberglassing everything, except for the dash. This means new door panels, quarter panel molding, center console, and a couple others. While the glass settled she busted out the steamer and carpet and custom molded a new black carpet for the car. She then stepped it up a notch by jumping on the sewing machine and recovering some SC seats i picked up. She went with the Leather/Suede combo, looks very sweet.
While the interior was gutted my Dad created an all aluminum dash, complete with autometer gauges. He then went on to begin shaving the front bumper. The last time i had been at the junkyard i picked up an SC rear bumper, i thought i might cut the thunderbird part out and then have it placed onto my 97 bumper, I don't think anybody has done this yet, so my Dad has go ahead and done that. Here's a teaser shot of that:

The car is still in pieces but will soon be put back together, then off to the paint shop. I'll get photos once everything is all said and done.
