Here are the pics right after work had begun on the car
He ended up taking the entire front clip off of the car to get everything in order. The fenders were trash.

The worst rust was in the hatch area where the car had been fixed from a past accident. All rust was cut out and new metal welded in.
Here it is with one of the new fenders on. The right fender that he got was stamped incorrectly so that the body lines didn't match up so he sent it back and ordered 3 right fenders so that he could pick the best one.
Here it is with the front end on and aligned. They were testing how everything fit together. It was all going to be torn apart again to be primered and painted but it was certainly looking better. Everything was lining up!
This is what needs to be done when you have a stress crack. he welded it shut and then smoothed it out.
