This is my astra as standard, i had alot planned for it... But then i crashed it into the back of a parked BMW! That didnt stop my plans though, i just got it repaired through my work (i work as a painter for a bodyshop), this was a bonus. i got a GSi bumper fitted (insurance paid for, ha!), side indicators smoothed over, and my mirrors and standard side sills painted.

This is a picture to show what the rear end looked like before i started on it!

as you can see, i have been busy! lots and lots of filler!!
i have removed the rear door handels, and door mouldings and smoothed it all over. this was alot of work indeed! ive added a bonnet vent, removed the vauxhall 'v' grill at the front and welded a plate over it. modified the GSi front bumper, by adding parts from a honda civic type R rear bumper to the corners and blending it all in! added sum side skirts for the second time, as the first ones got pinched, so this time they have been blended in to the wheel arches to put people off steeling them!
twin exhaust, smothed tailgate new bumper and big spoiler, all done by me.

time for loads of primer, and rubbing down!

ready to mask up, for painting.

now for the paint, ive gone for silver

with black at the rear end.

i lacquerd it with loads of metal flake, to add a sparkle. even done the 18" wheels to match!
more to come....
..ive just collected the car from my work, so here is a couple of the finished paintwork, what do you think?

bit of a difference?!

when the sun eventually comes out, ill take a couple of pics of the car, you can reall see the metal flake sparkle!
next...
more interior mods, its fairly standard at the moment, just a few colour coded bits and a set of cobra reclinable seats and harnesses.

now colour coded lights to match!!!!
i had to re-paint he wheels due to hitting curbs, so i decided to go slightly different. they look great in the sun!
here a a few pics of the interior. as you can see i have removed the clock display an smothed it over, and colour coded some bits.
