I finally got around to getting new rubbers for my Jeep. After way too many hours of comparing tires and reading every review I could find, I decided on the Bridgestone Dueler A/T Revo's. I must say, the first thing I will notice about a vehicle is it's tires. So, looks were as important to me as performance. I've had these tires for 4 years now, and I have been through all the Canadian seasons from icy roads, deep snow, hot pavement, dusty, rutty roads, a little bit of mud, and let's not forget, beach sand. These tires are fantastic. I was told these tires climb mountains, and although I haven't tried that yet, I do believe they can. I will definitely buy them again when the time comes.

A little Christmas present was a Garmin c530 StreetPilot GPS Vehicle Navigator. I have always felt confident in my innate sense of direction, but not even that can compare to the security of having a talking map! If anyone does any travelling, this is an incredible tool to have. If you make a wrong turn, it recalculates your route in 3-6 seconds. And ladies, if you want shopping malls, take your pic of hundreds. Its a great feeling to know exactly where you are going. You just gotta love technology.
I put in a automatic car starter (ok, the crew at Base Electronics did) so I would not have to freeze my tail off in these cold canadian winters. I really enjoyed a warmed up vehicle until one day my battery died and I did not know it. Of course my car starter didn't know any different, and kept trying to start my jeep anyway. It's a wonder it didn't fry the whole friggin works. Just keep that in mind if your thinking of installing one.
I would like to make a comment about the cardomain blog in reference to the ladies at cardomain. There were many comments made in a favourable and not so favourable light. Not all of us are brilliant at modifying our vehicles, and sometimes you have to start somewhere. So if all you can do is park your ass on the hood, so be it. It's all in the name of entertainment folks. I say ride on tx_taco_girl. You put a lot of smiles on faces this week, as it shows in your guestbook. The argument was cardomain vs myspace. Well, not everyone in myspace has a car!
As for those who are only interested in mods, just keep looking. On cardomain, you are bound to find what you are looking for, and all the help you need to get you there.
I will also add that if you are looking for mod content, I will save you the time--just past this page by and go to another. There are many talented people out there, I am not one of them--yet.
***If you are a serious Jeeper, you must look into my Robert Stephens link. It is quite the remarkable site. Robert is a true Jeeper for longer than most of us even knew what a Jeep was.***

I almost parked like this once!
Jeep is not my only ride....
...and my mountain bike....

Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention
of arriving safely in a attractive and well preserved body,
but rather to skid in sideways, body thoroughly used up, worn out and screaming
WOO HOO what a JEEP ride!
