It has been a while since I updated, and many mods. so here is goes I will try to set it up step by step so If there are a few of you guys that just want say a 3" lift, 6" or the whole 9" you can get a preview and I will try to list tire size and if there was any issues.

this is my tacoma to date, 6" suspension with 3" body clears 35's with no problem, got toyo m/t's on 17" enkei wheels, when you do the 6" lift you change the steering knuckles and therefore can only run certain wheels, tierod, brake caliper clearance issues, I have forgot all the specifications but check into it before you do it! stock ones will no longer fit on the front. Sat on jackstands in the shop waiting for the new wheels for a week(binefits of living in the middle of nowhere). performance mods, just installed doug thorley ceramic long tube headers, to exsisting MBRP duel stainless tail pipes single muffler. along with a urd Y-pipe. this eliminates the 4 cats so you also have a black o2 simulator to wire in. I got one word for ya.... LOUD! I put one cat back in the system in front of the muffler, still very nice tone. Can be a litte obnoxious when its cold and you jump on it. k&n intake system is ok, personally i think i would have benefitted the same with a drop in. next will be gears... if you guys have any suggestions please let me know, I was thinking 4.11 still pull trailers and run the freeway alot, I think 4.56 would be too low, oh yeah it has the 6 speed manual with 3.73 gears now. also looking into the supercharger

other mods are the turn signals on dim with parklights on, the foglight backup lights, awesome! as easy as changing a bulb and all fit in factory taillight lense(thanks guys) and of course run anytime foglights.got all this information from the very knowlegable guys on this site. i know that I and many others are very appreciative. some of these newer rigs are pretty complicated and intimidating. thanks again!
things for the future will be gears, a one piece driveline, and aluminum winch bumpers front and rear the record for pulling other rigs out goes like this 3 duramax's 4 powerstrokes and 3 cummins--- you could not give me a diesel. I hav ehad it through 3-4 feet of snow and on top of over 6 feet, I slowed down and thats how we found out how deep it was. it took a case of beer and an hour of digging, tho only 4 wheelers could get to us everyone else was stuck about 5 miles lower. so a polaris 800 sportsman got the honor of pulling me out the only time I have been stuck. the irony!
