its a 1974 Nova, we bought it for 500 bucks, running! we yanked the 350 out and decided to model the new one to an article in super chevy. new 350 truck vortec heads, extreme energy comp cam, polished swirl vlaves, hedman headers, edelbrock RPM airgap manifold, 750 holly double pumper, 40 series fowmaster mufflers. the numbers in the magazine said 375 hp and 410 ibs ft of torque, ive seen other magizines do the same set up and get 390hp and 425 ibs ft of torque. the car doesnt hook up very well on the track, any ideas? it has traction bars but they seem tight, would making the rubber snubbers shorter help? it has 14" rims with 8" wide tires on it, do we need wider tires? it has air shocks, do we need different ones? should we air them up when we run or let all the air out? the rear is really tight and stiff. Any advice would help.

we got new tires, thier a little taller because we were hoping it would increase our trap speeds. the car still cant get traction. 3rd run the transmission blew. we're in the process of getting a new transmission. most likely a little stronger, can i get some opinions on a muncie, t-10, and a rock crusher? pros cons? strength?

well for right, due to lack of options, we are putting another stock 4 speed back into the Nova and were gunna see how long that lasts.
