Alright I got this 80' El Co back a few months from my Dad, it started out as a 2 tone El Camino and was basically stock, and just sittin around in the drive way, but i knew it had the potential to be a clean ride, so when i got it i wanted to go lowrider with it. BEFORE AND AFTER PICS

So in order for this beat up El Camino to become a Lowrider, I talked to Danny one of the brothers from my church,he works on cars and is in a car club called Eminence so he knows all bout lowriders. I was talking to him one day and i brought up my el camino and told him what i wanted to do with it, so i guess thats when he became the man for the job
Alright from there i took my car to the body shop where they stripped the interior then steam cleaned the car and did body work on it. Next the car was takin to the house where Danny installed the new leather over the seats, put in a new headliner, a new dashboard but same style, new steering wheel, and a new carpet. BEFORE AND AFTER PICS

From there they took the El Co to Delgado's Customs shop for painting. Me and Danny discussed the color of the car and we came to the decision to paint it an orange with a pearl in it. So basically in the paint we added gold flaking so you can see a sparkle in the paint job. From there we put the pin striping on it and then the gold leafing.
To finish the paint job off, i wanted to put a mural on the car. Ever since the car started gettin worked on I kept on comin up with ideas of what to put on my car. I wanted it to be something original. I wanted to basically put something that symbolized me so i put a life story of me from when i was younger to my life now.
I’ve always been into Lowriding, I had me two clean 59’ El Camino’s, a 66’ Riviera, 70’ Impala, and a 77’ Monte Carlo. But I wasn’t livin my life right cuz I was always out partying hard doing the drugs, drivin around high and drunk. All that got me caught up with the law and I ended up havin to sale some of my cars for money so I could pay off fines. But then my wife and I were ministered to and I eventually excepted Christ as my Lord and Savior, and eventually I became a Pastor.
Not the best pics of the murals but i'm workin on postin up clearer ones
So basically in the mural you see two hands spreaded out. In one hand you see cars passing a one way sign goin the wrong direction. And the road these cars are heading are going into a tunnel where you see the devils mouth opening wide, as you can see thats represents the way i was heading in my younger years. In the other hand you see my 59' El Camino and my youngest sons and I 43' Chevy Fleetline, parked next to a church which then represents my life now. The two hands in a way say "Which road/life do you want to take?" And that other picture is my custom plate "Low Crusin" cuz thats how whats its all about

After the painting on the car was done, it went back to Danny's house where his brother in law installed the stereo system which is a panasonic cd/dvd player. Then he put the two amps behind the seats. From there he took out the mirrors and installed the tv monitors. After all that came the air bags, so he installed the air compressors behind the seats and put the switches under the dashboard.

Alright then here comes the rims. At first i was thinkin about putting 14's on the El Co' but after thinkin it over i decided to go with 13's cuz when you drop the car all the way down, the 13's makes it look like the car is even lower than it looks. And then with the spokes i was thinkin bout just goin chrome with it, but then I decided that it would look better if we the spokes were gold mixed with the chrome with the chrome knock off.

Just messin around with the switches

I ain't done yet with my El Co I'm plannin on chromin under the hood with a clean set up so that should be done by maybe may of this year, then i plan on chroming the undercarriage and maybe somemore murals on the sides
