B6T Project
I am doing an engine swap from the B6 to the B6T. I got the B6-T for christmas of 2003 from my loving girlfriend with the help of my friend. Thanks guys!
These are some shots of when I first laid eyes on my present

It looked a little rough but it's a project and a great learning experience. I decided to tear down the engine, replace the rings, gaskets, bearings and to give it a splash of colour
I removed the old engine from the car
Here are pics of the block after cleaning the inch of dirt and shit and giving it a coat of paint

Some pics of the intake manifold, fuel rail and injectors

I ordered new bolts for the main bearing caps from Mazda and spent all summer waiting for them. So in the mean time I decided to clean up the engine bay and give it a nice black finish instead of the silver with nasty yellow oil spray

It's black now!

I finally got the bolts in from mazda leaving me with having to rush to get the car together because I wanted to drive it before the winter came
Okay so I put the engine in and got it started for about 15 minutes then couldn't get it to turn over the next day. I didn't have enough time to pull the engine and see what's wrong with it because winter was just around the corner
Spring is now here, so I pulled then engine out and found my problem - I spun a bearing. This was my first time rebuilding an engine and didn't really get enough resources because i was bummed out about waiting for the bolts threw it together and swapped two of the rod caps. And this caused my engine to cease. :( But that's ok, I got a friend of mine to help me with fixing it and he said it won't be a problem
That's all I got for now
