Hi! This is my 1985 toyota SR5 2wd Shortbed. About a year ago i painted the truck viper yellow. I drive it everyday so of course it has had her share of scratches and pings. A rock hit the bugsheild a week ago so out of frustration i took off the ventshades also.
This truck has a 2.4 engine. I rebuilt myself the engine about three months ago because of the stupid timing chain. While i was inside i replaced the crnkshaft, went with larger pistons, a 272 duration cam, and had the head worked and ported. If i add up the supposed gains in hp and torque i would be somewhere between 145-165 hp and 160-180 ft lbs of torque. I'll assume i'm at the lower end until i put the truck on a dyno though.
On this picture i had only a single outlet for an exhaust. I already had the header install back then with a glasspack.

I've only done a few exterior mods. Chrome nerf bars on the side, slotted alum rails on the bed, 87 one piece bumper instead of the 85 bumper with the plastic endcaps, tinted windows,tweety mud flaps, and a funky little antenna.
