Here is the story and history
I am the second owner.I purchased the car from the original owner on August 13 2005.The car was originally from New Jersey.A N.J. detective owned it an transfered down to the West Palm PD and decided to part with his baby. I gave him my word I would do the right job and restore her to her old glory.
It has a 305 V-8, Power window, locks and the whole super sport package. The car came with the original Factory "Build Sheet", 86 drivers manual, even the original Temp dealer tag,The orginal owner has every receipt from the first oil change to the last.
The car sat for 3 years before I came across it.As you can see from the pictures, There is a lot of work to be done. I COULD not drive the car home to Miami,So I got a trailer, and towed her home. The next day I pulled the gas tank, cleaned and sanded the tank, changed the gas lines .The following week we pulled the plugs, drained the oil and replaced the filter, and she fired right up. I have removed and replacing the rear bumper, IT was totally rusted out, I WILL be replacing the hood and radiator support also. The body is straight, I will be sand blasting the under carrage, and then putting a coat of por-15. More pictures as work progresses. thanks for looking
