I am 15, almost 16 and got this car a month ago. As you can see from the picture its silver with the black plastick line across the side(not sure if it has a specific name) and it has black pinstripe lines just below the shoulder of the car. My dad said he wants me to get new rims. Dad just sold some land to a guy who owns a custom shop so hes thinkin of having me get the work done there.

If i were to get some work done locally what size rims should i get and what style do you guys reccomend? I want to get some custom molding/side skirts and bumpers, but i dont know how to find the people to do that kinda work or the kits to buy and how to install them.

I like how the car rides, its quick, sporty, and HOTT...i just wanna make some custom mods to make it the SH*T car of my city any tips?

Ive seen some people with letters and words next to their "S40" decal..how do i get one of these to name my car or sumthin?
Also since its the 2000 it has the radio/tape player...can someone explain how to install a CD player and rewire it?
Another question: Headlights...I want Xenon or Halogen headlights... which do you think are sweeter?
...door handles... they are the stock black plastic anyone found some custom ones that look nice with the silver pain i have? thanks for your help.

MESH!!
I decided i needed to start with the little details... so i went to home depot with my mom and got smoe gutter protector mesh.
I got home got paper and traced the opening to the right fog light plastic cover thing then traced it onto the mesh witha permanent marker and cut around with with 1/2 inche extra to fold back. i made the shape and made surhure it was nice and even around the edges.
then came the HARD part. to pop the fog light cover thing out i had to unscrew a few polts from the bottom of the car to loosen a black plastic cover wich then let me get to the fog ligh cover then i had to pop a plastic pin out of it to release it...that took a while sine i couldnt see a thing.

This is what i like about Volvos..the shoulder. Its more defined on the S80, but it still makes a Volvo a Volvo.

This is some more mesh i added:
I put some in the center opening and put a few drops of special glue...it holds nice but can come off if i wanna customize it some more.

I replaced the left plastic foglight cover with mesh ...this shows the left foglight mesh plus the center opening mesh.

My dad is getting me new rims...any suggestions? alloy? chome? how many inches? color?.... I have another question i just got new wheels they have nice traction they are michalens(spelling?) the tires are the volvo stock tires and are 15 inches if i got 16 or 17 inch rims would i need to get new tires? how does that work? these are the ones i have now
