My 93 Silverstone is currently my other car. I have an Opel Astra that my wife uses as daily commute to & from work.
First got the Miata bite in the early 90s & traded my 92 3-dr Civic VTi for a used red Miata. The bonus is that it came with a stage 1 BBR turbo bolt-on kit.........due to some reasons that i rather not mention, i had to sell it. To cut the story short my love for Miata didn't subside & it was in Mar 2001 that i finally got my 93 Silverstone, this was after 4 months of looking around as i was particular about the registration numbers(4s & 7s are a no no) & colour that i settled for this.
It came almost stock, the only "mod" are the 16" OZs, lowered springs, Jackson CAI, Nology cables & Racing Dynamics rear muffler. At that point i wanted a stock car & literally bought(new & used) & replaced the non-OEM parts & finally make do with 15" Enkei RS 5(light rims they are).............the interior was also stock, what you see below is the result of mutiple add-ons done over a period of a few months(& in my opinion is still not complete, need a few more...)
