1974 Chevrolet Nova

This is the result of over a year of searching and saving until I found the right Nova. I bought this car in the summer of '05 and my work acumulated into a 17 year old rumblin around in a muscle car for his senior year!!!

From the factory this was a 6cyl but now under the hood it has a 350 bored out to a 355 with TRW pistons and an edlebrock Performer RPM air gap intake. It has a weber 650 carb. and MSD ignition. 9:1 compresion ratio with the stock heads. Im lookin to replace the heads but i dont know if just dropping in 305 heads is the best option. If you can help me out i can use any information you have. The gauges you see on the right is the line lock.

In the back of the car theirs a ford 9 inch rear axle with 4:11 gear ratio replacing the original so the 11.5 inch wide tires fit inside the wheel wells which have been tubbed. The gas tank has also been moved into a fuel cell in the trunk for drag racing and so the frame connectors can connect the original two subframes to prevent twisting. The rear leaf springs have been replaced by coil over shocks so it doesn't hop so bad when ya light em up! Also has ladder bars so the ride height in the back is adjustable. you cant really tell in most of the pictures but from the side the back looks really jacked up. Probably because the previous owner lowered the front end.
This is the best picture i have of the ride height.
Its me in a local parade thats got pretty big.
last year their were over 700 cars!
I have lowered the back end since this pic:

Inside their are two racing bucket seats each with 5 point harness seat belts enclosed in an eight point roll cage. The interior was redone when i bought it and is very nice with two minor cracks on the dash and some imperfections in the carpet. It currently has a grant steering wheel which im probably gona replace with and older looking style.

The trany is a turbo 350 with a performance shift kit and a B&M megashifter with line lock button installed on the side it really helps jumpin off the line if you lock the car right where the back tires are about to start to spin. Its a beast off the line! With the 4:11 gears in the back thats what its made for. On the highway crusin at 65 mph its up at about 3500 RPM's. Its definately not a top end car. The best run she's done on the track is 13.8s at 106mph. that was with the slicks that i have for it but their not on the car in the pictures.
Ill keep adding more pictures as I take them! Ill add some where you can see the rear axle and interior and some better shot of how its jacked up so you can answer my poll!
