Box Building
The dimensions were taken from the deCAF Ported Box Calculator.
The hard work was done for me. Time to start cutting.
After cutting all the peices of void-free 3/4" plywood, we started to glue everything and staple the peices together. We didnt use screws or nails, we used hundreds of 1.5" staples. It held extremely well.
We used silicone caulking for all the interior edges of the box, ALL of them. We didnt want a single leak in this entire box. We knew that one tube would be more than enough, so we went crazy and completely smeared it all over everything.
The finished product, minus the carpet. Looks pretty good huh?
The Box, loaded with everything mounted. It sounds amazing and incredibly loud.
